What counts as a tenant?
A tenant is one isolated compliance environment — usually a deployment or business unit. Both pricing and policy follow the same 4-layer hierarchy (Platform → Org → Tenant → Process), so the unit you're billed on is the unit you actually govern.
Is there a self-serve or per-month plan?
No. Dobby is enterprise compliance software sold by annual contract per tenant — the old per-gateway-request tiers are gone. You can still start free: sign up, install the Collector, run a workflow, and export your first Evidence Pack at no cost. Module #1 itself is free through the design-partner pilot.
What's included in design-partner pricing?
Free during the pilot, 50% off your first annual contract, and direct roadmap input — in exchange for a logo and a reference. Running through 2026 while we lock in the first lighthouse customers on Module #1.
Do you take custody of our data or logs?
Out-of-band, always: we read run telemetry and never sit in the request path. Non-custodial by design — raw payloads can be routed to a customer-owned dataset, enforced for regulated modules (Fintech AI Evidence) and available opt-in elsewhere. Where no customer store is configured, Dobby holds the run payload in its own dataset so the scanner can evaluate it; metadata, findings, and signed evidence are always Dobby-held.
Which frameworks does each tier cover?
Module #1 ships scanners and an Evidence Pack for EU AI Act (Annex III high-risk), DORA, and SOC 2 Type II. Starter covers one framework; Growth covers all three plus all four policy layers; Enterprise adds unlimited scope, SSO, and a custom DPA.
What about the other modules?
Modules #2+ (Enterprise Data Policy, Healthcare AI Compliance, Public Sector AI Trust) are positioning-only today. Each will ship as its own per-tenant line when it's ready — nothing else is for sale yet.
